In May of 2013, Tom Cotelleso suffered a massive hemorrhagic stroke. 80% of people with similar conditions don't survive and of those who do, many are left with permanent disability.
He had a 6cm bleed and was completely paralyzed on his left side. At that point, Dr. Andrew Tsung with the Illinois Neurological Institute was able to use BrainPath to access the bleed and relieve the pressure to his brain.
Ten days later he was playing basketball.
